Podcasts I am VIBIN in the Q

Podcasts have become the universal quarantine staple. I find that a great podcast really has the power to get you out of a rut for the day, get you motivated and moving, or maybe recenter you to slow down. 

I thought it would be fun to list the top 5 podcasts I have kept up with religiously over these past two months!

In NO particular order…

Daily Quote

Quarantine got me expressing gratitude for the discovery of this podcast!! Daily Quote is the perfect way to start the day. With concise 2-3 minute episodes, a soothing narrator (who reminds me of radio host Delilah) and a consistent layout, Daily Quote delivers uplifting messages centered around life, positivity and outlook. Each short episode begins with a quote from a notable person, ranging from comedians to biblical figures—and everyone in between. The second half of the podcast centers around applicability, sharing a step-by-step guide on how you can practice the message today! All that in 3 minutes? Yes. 

Manifest with Tori Desimone

My holy grail. The queen of manifestation. Tori is a self-made, girl boss who educates her audience on all things manifestation. She owns a spin studio in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania—at the ripe age of 22. Before discovering this podcast, I wasn’t drawn to the practice of manifestation. It almost felt too complicated and too unattainable. Now, it is my most powerful tool. Tori breaks down manifestation and having a spiritual relationship with the Universe that is both attainable and attractive. Tori has been exceptionally real during this quarantine. As a girl who has transitioned from waking up at 5 a.m. every day to sleeping in till noon now, she highlights the importance of not having to go 100 mph during this time. She is real, light-hearted, transparent and motivating. If you end up loving it as much as I do, join her facebook community! 

Optimal Living Daily: Personal Development & Minimalism

Ahhh I love this podcast! Largely because it showcases the work of the common folk—by that I mean, noncelebrities. Optimal Living Daily is a sort of “audioblog” where the host actively finds and shares existing blog posts centered around minimalism and productivity. All segments are short and are great fuel for midday motivation. Maybe one day, he’ll read one of mine. 

Gals on the Go

An oldie, but a goodie. GOTG can definitely be a solid hit-or-miss, but nonetheless one of my favorite podcasts to put on in the background. Hosts Brooke and Danielle are young lifestyle vloggers who talk about every gal issue under the sun. I love the dialogue style of this podcast. A great one to put on while deep cleaning your room, or whipping up some quarantine banana bread. Sometimes this podcast is the healthy ounce of “basic” you need.


Rachel Hollis is the host of the “RISE” podcast, but also a CEO of a multimillion dollar media company AND a NYT Bestselling Author. She does it all, while being a mama. Hollis is a go-getter who makes you want to jump out of bed at 5 a.m. to pursue your dreams and passions. I am currently reading her book, “Girl, Stop Apologizing.” Being able to find consistent truth through her written and verbal word has made her message THAT much more meaningful. If an author of your current read has a podcast, I would suggest listening to an episode, or two!
